| Sending our news by email | email, website language, time of sign-up | your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) | until you withdraw your consent |
| Running the website (language, appearance, your cookie choice) | strictly necessary cookies, listed on the Cookies page | strictly necessary for a service you request (Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll.) | 6 months to 1 year |

Please do not include sensitive information about your child's health or birth numbers in a message. If we need it, we will arrange to discuss it in person. We do not store what you type into the website search, and it never reaches our technical logs.
Online application and pupil record
Both the online application and the pupil record book run in the iZUŠ system, outside this website. The details you enter there are used for admissions and for keeping study records under school regulations. The system is run by an external provider and its own privacy terms apply, which you can find in the iZUŠ system itself. Open the iZUŠ system (opens in a new window)
Photos and videos in our news
Our news articles include photos and videos from school events. We only ever give children's and teachers' names in short form (first name and the initial of the surname). If you would rather your child's photo were not on the website, let us know and we will remove it. Consent to publication: [to be completed by the school]
Third-party services
YouTube videos only load once you click the preview. Until then the website does not contact YouTube or Google at all. After the click, the video plays in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and any further processing is governed by Google Ireland Limited under its own policies.
Links to Facebook and other networks open pages run by those companies. Nothing is sent to them until you click a link.
Who can access your data
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Only authorised school staff and the processors who run our website and server can access it: [to be completed by the school].
Your rights
- to know whether and what data we hold about you, and to receive a copy (Article 15 GDPR),
- to have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16),
- to ask for your data to be erased (Article 17),
- to restrict processing (Article 18),
- to receive your data in a machine-readable format (Article 20),
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21),
- to withdraw your consent at any time, for example to our news emails. Withdrawal does not apply retrospectively.
Simply email us at ahoj@arsakademy.sk. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
Complaints
If you feel we are not handling your data properly, you can complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk (opens in a new window). We would, however, much prefer to put things right with you directly first.
