Hours of training and preparation in the dance studio. Performing at the fair, the school gala and a sports festival? Of course. But it is also important to measure ourselves against others in the dance world :)

Final exams are something special. Imagine devoting yourself to one activity for at least 8 years. That is how long it takes to complete the first stage of basic study at a school of arts.

End of year exams: a successful showcase of everything our pupils have learnt over four years in the dance department. They have now completed their introduction to classical, folk and creative dance.

We are very pleased that this year our young artists have left their studio for a gallery visit for the third time. Getting to know the work of a wide range of artists is the foundation for their own creative work.

As if all the performances here and there were not enough, our pupils and their teachers also put together two lovely gala performances in Partizánske and Bánovce nad Bebravou.

As well as appearing at public events and school shows, our musicians present their work and their instrumental skills at the school's music recitals.

From 23 to 27 May 2018, pupils from the Ars Akademy dance department in Bánovce nad Bebravou will take part in the world finals of the international dance competition DanceStar World Finals.

If I could see even in my most secret dream where on earth so many kind words are, I would make of them a prayer for my mum. For she herself is a prayer already. ...
